BETTY BAKER

Betty Baker is a native Oklahoman, being involved in the Sport of Equestrian Drill Team for well over 40 years. She was a member of the former Sooner Saddle Club Drill Team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the founder of the former CC Riders Drill Team, and a founding member of the current Canandian Valley Rangerettes. In 2003 she founded the Freedom Riders 4-H Drill Team, retiring as their coach in 2006. An active member of her church, she also includes her granddaughters and horses as her hobbies.

The Rhinestone Riders were formed in 2007 to promote friendships, the love of horses, good horsemanship and patriotism. All their current riders call Wilburton, Oklahoma home. They are dedicated to promoting excellence in the Sport of Equestrian Drill.
FREEDOM RIDERS
Canadian County, Oklahoma
The Freedom Riders Drill Team is a group of riders ages 9 - 22 from Canadian County, Oklahoma. This club is composed of 21 riders which practice year 'round. Within their 6 years of existence, they have made their name known by traveling to parades and rodeos all over Oklahoma. They also attend Drill Team Competitions where they have earned three Youth National Championship titles.

HEATHER COMERATE
McLoud, Oklahoma
Heather competed heavily in the Sport of Equestrian Drill Team on the West Coast before moving to Oklahoma in 2001. She has served as Drill Team Judge and Clinician across the country and is a charter member of the United States Equestrian Drill Association (USEDA) and Oklahoma Equestrian Drill Association (OKEDA). In 2002 she created her company DRILL FEVER! which provides products and services for the sport. She is the editor of an e-newsletter which features drill news and information, and enjoys conducting private and group drill clinics across the country. A mother of two young girls she has been married to David Comerate for 14 years.
KALLIE BAKER
Mustang, Oklahoma
Kallie was crowned Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen in 2009. In addition to Equestrian Drill Team, she also participates in barrel racing and pole bending in the Heart of Oklahoma Youth Rodeo Association. A member of the AQHA, she competes in Ranch Sorting and has qualified for the AQHA Youth World Show the past two years. As a senior at Mustang High School, she is active in the National Honor Society and the FFA and plans to attend Southwestern Oklahoma State University majoring in marketing after graduation.

HEARTLAND EQUESTRIAN MINISTRY, INC.

Heartland Equestrian Ministry Drill Team is an organization comprised of committed Christians with the conviction of sharing the saving grace of our Savior, Jesus Christ, through equine activities. As Christian horsemen and horsewomen, they are involved daily with their horses and consider this ministry with them as an extension of who they are.

BARBARA KNUDSEN
Alvarado, Texas
Barbara Knudsen is from Alvarado, Texas and is a member of the Texas Ladies Aside Sidesaddle Drill Team in College Station, Texas. She is also a supporting member of the Riders of Faith Drill Team in Egan, Texas. She lived for 28 years in the state of Washington where she belonged to the Peace Arch Equestrian Drill Team. She started judging drill competitions 20+ years ago and has judged competitions from Washington State and California, to Florida the the City of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada. Barbara is a founding member of the UNITED STATES EQUESTRIAN DRILL ASSOCIATION and was its first Secretary. She taught the first USEDA Judges Clinic that certified almost 60 individuals from all over the United States. Ms. Knudsen loves the sport of drill, spends a lot of time promoting it and loves the fact that it attracts people of all ages and is family oriented.
